Q: Can you deliver to an address other than my own?
A: Yes. We will be pleased to arrange this for you. Simply enter the delivery address as Step 1 of checkout.

Q: How long will delivery take?
A: We want you to be delighted with your purchases and the services we offer so we will aim to deliver most orders as quickly as possible. Our BBQs are usually delivered within 3 working days and most of other items, usually within 5 days. As our products are held at different locations it is not always possible to combine products into a single delivery and products from different ranges may have differently delivery times. Therefore at the busiest times deliveries may take a little longer and, occasionally, you should allow up to 14 days. For larger items and orders, such as BBQs and sets of garden furniture, we will contact you on the day of despatch to confirm the expected date of arrival.

Q: Can I collect in person to avoid the cost of delivery?
A: Yes, you can. Contact Customer Services for further information about collecting from, and paying at our show-room as we will need to check our stock levels. Visit our contact us page for details on how to find us.

Q: Does someone need to be present on the day of delivery?
A: Yes. Someone must be available to check that your order has arrived in good condition and sign the carrier's delilvery note. Please do not sign for or accept any goods until unpacked and checked in full. Only sign if you are satisfied with the condition of your purchase. Items which have been signed for are deemed to be complete and in good condition. Please refer to our Terms and Conditions for our Returns Policy.

Q: Is Value Added Tax (VAT) included in your prices?
A: Yes. Businesses and individuals registered for VAT can generally reclaim this. Garden Style Direct's VAT number will be on your invoice.

Q: Will my payment be secure?
A: We regard security as extremely important and protect all data, including credit card information, with firewalls and virus/intrusion protection software. Our payment handler is HSBC plc. Please also see our Privacy Policy.

Q: What accessories would you suggest for use with your products?
A: We recommend the use of only Garden Style Direct accessories with our barbecues. These include tool sets, aprons, gauntlets, cast iron griddle and enamel griddle hot plate. Please note the cast iron griddle and enamel griddle hot plate cannot be used simultaneously on gas barbecues.

We only recommend our accessories be used with our furniture range. As these accessories have been designed and produced to perfectly fit and complement each individual piece of furniture.

Q: Where can I obtain gas for my BBQ?
A: Many hardware shops, DIY stores and garden centres sell canisters of propane gas suitable for all Gazo barbecues (formerly Redfyre). Suppliers in your area will be listed in Yellow Pages (or similar directories) under 'Bottled Gas'. Only propane gas is suitable for use with Gazco barbecues, a propane regulator is supplied with all Gazco barbecues. The Gazco 14 & 25 have built in storage for a gas bottle, for the Gazco 11 & 12 we recommend you purchase the Gazco gas bottle cover.

Q: Can I keep my BBQ outside all the time?
A: All-weather barbecue covers are considered as adequate protection for the summer months but an enclosed and suitably dry space in a garage, shed, outhouse, barn or similar must be provided for storage during the winter. The Gazco 14 & 25 are supplied with barbeque covers, for the Gazco 11 & 12 we recommend you purchase the Gazco barbecue cover.

Q: Where can I purchase bio-ethanol fuel for my outdoor fire?
A: You can buy bio-ethanol fuel for your outdoor fire from many online retailers as well as an increasing number of garden centres.

Q: Does the teak for your garden furniture come from sustainable sources?
A: Yes. We are concerned for the environment and, therefore, it is our policy that all teak used in our products is sourced from sustainable sources. We only buy from suppliers who have Forestry Stewardship Council (FSC) certification.

Q: Does teak garden furniture change colour?
A: Left outside teak will mellow to a soft, silvery-grey. If you prefer to retain the original colour, most products are designed to fold or stack away. Otherwise teak oil can be applied to new teak to maintain its golden colour. This should be continued depending on how much natural sunlight the furniture is exposed to. Here are some tips for applying teak oil to your garden furniture:

  • Surfaces must be dust-free and clean
  • The furniture must also be completely dry (it can take up to 48 hours to fully dry out after rain) otherwise moisture within the wood may cause black mildew spots to appear after oiling
  • Apply teak oil before your garden furniture begins to weather. If it has already begun to weather, use teak cleaner followed by teak oil to help to restore the original colour
  • Follow the instructions on the teak oil packaging. Generally, this would be to apply a light coating with a clean, lint free rag or paint brush. Two coats should be adequate. Teak oil can be purchased from high quality garden centers, where we recommend you receive expert advice on choosing and using the correct product

Q: Can I use conventional cleaning products on my furniture?
A: Teak furniture can be washed with a mild mixture of soap and water, using a soft utility brush to remove surface dust and dirt. Do not scrub. Rinse thoroughly and allow to dry.

Teak garden furniture does not require the application of wood sprays, preservatives or oils as it has a naturally high oil content. However, for some tastes, the slivery-grey colour that teak garden furniture develops as it weathers, may be too rustic and oil can be applied to create a full, rich surface sheen. See the tips in the previous answer.

Q: What material is used for the woven garden furniture?
A: The hand-woven material is a durable, synthetic fibre that is highly resistant to sunlight, chlorinated and sea water, high and low temperatures, micro organisms and body lotions. It is also washable with non-abrasive cleaning products for low maintenance usage indoors or out.

Q: Some of the Woven tables feature a glass top, what happens if the glass breaks?
A: The 8mm toughened safety glass is designed to look good as well as being practical and durable. In the unlikely event of breakage, the glass will shatter into small, relatively blunt pieces as opposed to sharper shards.
